# System Puzzles > Puzzles about the systems that run your day. Free logic puzzles you play in the browser. Each one is a line: write its rules and watch the day run. Line 1 is Elevator, the lifts of an office tower. System Puzzles publishes small puzzles about everyday systems, such as the lifts of a building. Players arrange rules written in plain words on cards, then watch the system run; no programming is needed. Every puzzle is free to play in the browser, needs no account, shows no ads and keeps progress only in the player’s browser. Each puzzle has a page at /puzzles/, where it also runs; on its own it is played at /play//. ## Main pages - [Home](https://systempuzzles.com/index.md): Puzzles about the systems that run your day. ## Puzzles - [Elevator](https://systempuzzles.com/puzzles/elevator.md): The lifts of an office tower. Everyone plays the same one. - [The elevator algorithm: SCAN and LOOK with a worked example](https://systempuzzles.com/devlog/elevator-algorithm-scan-and-look.md): SCAN goes to the end before turning, LOOK turns at the last request. One example compares them with FCFS and shortest-seek-first. - [How do elevators decide where to go?](https://systempuzzles.com/devlog/how-elevators-decide-where-to-go.md): A lift keeps going while someone needs it in that direction, then turns around. Most of the rest is built on that one rule. ## Full text - [llms-full.txt](https://systempuzzles.com/llms-full.txt): every page above in one Markdown file
